College: In the fall, I will be attending Emmanuel College in Boston. I’m so excited!
Major: I don’t know what I want to do yet, so I just plan to hopefully figure it out as soon as possible. I’m extremely indecisive so it’s been hard for me to pick one major, but I know I want to do something that will allow me to help people as best I can.

Who was your favorite teacher or administrator during your time at TMHS? What subject did they teach? What made her or him special?

My favorite teacher while being in school was Mr. Duprey. I didn’t have him until my junior year when I took history, but for my senior year I signed up for two classes with him because I liked his teaching so much. He’s a great teacher and I’m definitely going to miss him!

What is something about TMHS that people might not know, but should?

People might not know that just because we are a small school, doesn’t mean we don’t have as many opportunities. You’re able to explore your interests with so many clubs and sports, and our teachers are always trying their best to help us with absolutely anything we need. Also, since our class sizes are generally smaller, our teachers can help us so much more because they’re able to get to know us pretty easily.

What advice would you give to next year’s ninth grade students coming to TMHS?

Next year’s freshman should know that they need to take advantage of as many opportunities they can. I was very shy coming into high school and my biggest regret is not doing as many things as I could have to get involved with the school community. Even if you are shy like I used to be, go out of your comfort zone and join as many clubs and sports as you can because you will thank yourself by the time you’re a senior. And definitely cherish your time in high school! Everyone always says that those four years go by so quickly, and I never believed them. But here we are, almost ready to graduate, when it feels like the first day of freshman year was just yesterday.

What makes TMHS special? Why?

I believe TMHS is so special because we are such a small school. Like I said earlier, people think it’s crazy when I tell them that my graduating class is only 48 students. I love having a small school because you walk through the hallways and you know every teacher and pretty much every student by name. It also makes school so much fun because you become so close with each other that it feels like a second family.
