“THMS is a special place. The teachers make this place so unique. They listen to our voice and they really do everything they can to make sure we learn but also to make sure we have a good time.”Hailie Lemieux

What is your dream job?
Who was your favorite teacher or administrator during your time at TMHS? What subject did they teach? What made her or him special?
It’s hard to pick a favorite teacher at Tourtellotte however Mrs. Tupaj comes to mind. She was not only a teacher for education but also taught me life lessons. She pushed me in and out of school to become the best person I could be. If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t have made it through as much as I did the past four years.
What is something about TMHS that people might not know, but should?
People need to know all the good things Tourtellotte has to offer. All our clubs like diversity club, leadership team, events like midnight madness, our close knit community, our unique classes like law, video production, foods, contemporary issues, computer apps, and our popcorn chicken.
What advice would you give to next year’s ninth grade students coming to TMHS?
Be kind to your teachers, don’t act like you’re not a “stupid freshman’ and to stay on top of things (assignments/commitments) for as long as you can because senioritis doesn’t wait until senior year.
What makes TMHS special? Why?
THMS is a special place. The teachers make this place so unique. They listen to our voice and they really do everything they can to make sure we learn but also to make sure we have a good time. Tourtellotte wouldn’t be the same without each and every one of the teachers we have.
