HEALTH EDUCATION CLASSES
Helping out in our community
This year Mrs. Palazzo-Gagnon, the TMS Health Education teacher is collaborating with TEEG (Thompson Ecumenical Empowerment Group) to involve some of her classes in healthy community service projects. Their first project took place last Friday, September 25th as they volunteered their time in the food pantry at TEEG. Students unpacked boxes and stacked shelves. This was such a rewarding experience for the students. It is a great way to give back to our community.
If parents have questions about any of the community service projects, the regular Health Curriculum or Enriched Health please check out Mrs. Palazzo-Gagnon’s school web page or contact her at school.
